The awards ceremony and poetry reading for the 2018 Crowder Quill Magazine was held last night at the Elsie Plaster Community Center on the campus of Crowder College in Neosho, Missouri. It was a great night, and several contributors, representing high school students, Crowder College students, and community members, were present to receive awards. There were 915 entries in the contest this year, and 107 awards were presented. I was delighted to receive a Gold Fiction Award and to have my entry published in the magazine.
