Speak Up Talk Radio announced the winners of 2023 FIREBIRD BOOK AWARDS contest today, and I am so pleased to announce that Bass Reeves: Legendary Lawman of the Wild West won First Place in the Children’s Biography Category. Books from around the world were submitted to the International Firebird Book Awards, and judges read each book and independently scored each entry. Only entries with the highest scores were awarded the Firebird.
